ZAK NASH, VP CORPORATE DEVELOPMENT

As Vice President, Corporate Development at Founders, Zak is a core member of the origination and transaction team and is active in all aspects of origination, due diligence, valuation, negotiation, financing and structuring of new investments. Additionally, he supports the monitoring of Founders’ portfolio companies.

Founders is a family firm that combines 30 years’ private equity experience in over 80 companies with deep operating knowledge. The firm invests its partners’ own capital and focuses on applying operating know-how in medium-sized food businesses, with a view to building thriving organizations over the long term.

Prior to joining Founders, Zak worked as a Manager in PwC’s Deals Group, specializing in Valuations and advised public and private companies on M&A, financing, and corporate development initiatives. Prior to that, Zak was a Senior Associate in the Assurance practice at PwC, where he led audits in a variety of industry sectors. Zak completed his CPA, CBV, and CFA designations while at PwC.

Zak graduated with Dean’s Honours and the Gold Medal in his Honours B.A. in Economics, Politics, and Philosophy degree at the University of Western Ontario in 2012.
